Emanating from the flowers of bitter orange trees and marigold, Amara is sharp and glazed with honeyed heat. Neroli and petitgrain hover over a smooth horizon of fine Indian sandalwood. Vivid and biting herbaceous marigold adds the convection: the dense cool above the hot surface, creating a shimmering mirage in the intense heat of a blinding summer day.
